Associate General Counsel - Contracts The candidate's duties include: Will serve as a primary legal contact and contract negotiator for commercial contracts. Facilitate the contracts review process, including providing advice to business personnel, participating in contract negotiations, and coordinating contract review by other Attorneys as needed. Routinely review and provide advice to business personnel regarding the interpretation of existing contracts. Support and promote compliance of internal policies and procedures surrounding the contracting process. Support and contribute to the internal contract database, including contract review requests, status of contract reviews, and reporting as required. Oversee outside counsel as needed. Develop expertise and serve as subject matter expert on various matters as requested by leadership. Other duties as assigned. Should have strong project management and organizational skills and strong negotiation skills. must have excellent verbal, written (drafting), and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively, with ability to articulate important legal concerns/principles to non-legal business units. Juris Doctorate from ABA accredited law school required. Member in good standing of a State Bar Association required. 10+ years of contracting or contract law experience required. IT Contracting experience preferred. Cyber security and regulation experience preferred.
