Privacy Counsel

Privacy Counsel The candidate will provide privacy specialist legal advice including on privacy compliance across all aspects of global privacy law and regulation, including data breach response. Will provide privacy specialist legal advice and subject matter expertise required to support all functions within the firms global legal team. Provide specialist consultation and support to other key functions (Including PDPO, Compliance, various product areas, Global Affairs and Public Policy, and Corporate Communications).

The candidate should have J.D. or equivalent or equivalent practical experience. Must have 4 years of attorney-level experience. Experience with global privacy laws, including European and U.S. law, is required. Must be Admitted to the Bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the role is located. Experience advising on response to suspected data breaches is preferred. Experience designing compliance programs, policies, and processes is desired. Experience designing and implementing cross-functional programs and processes to meet legal requirements is a plus. Significant privacy subject matter experience is a plus.
