Associate General Counsel, Compliance Responsibilities: Manage Anti-Corruption Program at Tektronix, including implementation of the Channel Partner Toolkit to conduct appropriate due diligence assessments of suppliers and business partners and ensure compliance with its policies. Promote Speak Up! whistleblowing program and manage internal investigations arising from alleged violations of law, Standards of Conduct and company policy; including conducting document reviews and interviews, promptly developing action plans, preparing close-out reports, tracking resolutions, and liaising with Chief Compliance Officer. Design, improve and implement other appropriate compliance programs consistent with Standards of Conduct; including, anti-trust/competition laws, data privacy/protection, strategic risk assessment and responsible sourcing. Create and track metrics on compliance programs, and provide reports to Tektronix and executive management and legal leaders. Provide effective training on compliance and integrity topics and assist in training third parties (i.e., distributors, agents, authorized service contractors). Lead and develop an extraordinary team of compliance professionals. Promote a culture of compliance by heightening program awareness among all employees, contractors, leaders, and functions. Collaborate with other colleagues in the Fortive group to test compliance and assist in responding to compliance findings. Lead and conduct compliance due diligence and integration in acquisitions. Drive the process for Tektronix's Risk Assessment Plan, including regional and functional risk surveys and corresponding action plans to close any gaps. Assess, provide insight on and continuously improve compliance tools and develop standard repeatable processes for compliance policies and programs. Serve as subject matter expert and strategic business partner to senior leadership in all aspects of compliance. Monitor significant changes in laws and regulations and compliance trends, and update and communicate policies accordingly to ensure continuing compliance. Maintain records of compliance training, investigations, and related activities. Retain and actively manage outside counsel, auditors, or other experts as appropriate to assist with investigations, training, and other compliance-related projects. Assist the General Counsel as requested on other legal matters and projects, including responsibilities beyond compliance.

Qualifications: JD Degree or equivalent from an accredited university. Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 5+ years compliance experience within legal department of an international company or comparable relevant legal experience; preferably 2+ years' managing others. Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including FCPA, UK Bribery Act, data privacy, antitrust/competition laws, etc.. Anti-corruption and compliance investigation experience required. Data privacy/protection/security experience (such as GDPR, e-Privacy, CCPA and their implications for marketing, IT, engineering, software, cloud) highly desirable. Certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A a plus. Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization across functions. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience utilizing technology to track compliance programs a plus. Fluent in English; additional language skills a plus. Unquestionable integrity and excellent judgment. Process-oriented; ability to build sustainable compliance standard work and systems. Strong ability to spot compliance issues and correspondingly strong ability to provide solutions or paths to resolution; a perceptive and inquisitive problem-solver. Strong project management and organizational skills, to include prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and reporting progress and risks to colleagues and senior management. Global experience and appreciation for cultural and legal environments in various regions. Capable of working independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle many complex issues simultaneously, prioritizing and effectively managing time. Strong investigation and interview skills, including ability to ask the hard questions and manage highly sensitive matters and information with discretion and excellent judgment. Ability to work as a team player across all functions (including Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial), cultures, and organizational hierarchy. Attention to detail, including documentation, record-keeping, and tracking. Working knowledge of various standard computer applications and operating systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complicated information in an understandable and engaging way. Ability to persuasively influence, motivate, and build followership at all levels (factory workers to executives). Able to organize, prioritize, build and manage effective teams, and drive results. Able to manage attorneys, paralegals and compliance professionals.
