Corporate Counsel (Manufacturing) Responsibilities: Represent and support the Company's business objectives via effective advocacy, legal counseling and legal advice to all levels of the global organization on a wide variety of legal matters. Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of transactional, policy, training and other documents. Ensure Company policies and procedures are compliant with local, state and federal laws. Protect the Company's intellectual property, reputation and other assets. Draft and negotiate commercial and transactional contracts with suppliers and customers, providing guidance regarding terms and conditions; develop templates to facilitate and expedite commercial transactions. Support the Company's regulatory compliance. Protect the Company's Intellectual Property, including managing the filing of patents and trademarks. Provide legal advice, opinions and support in all areas of employment and labor law issues. Manage all claims and litigation. Ensure the company's marketing and communications materials are compliant. Strategy. Offer counsel and advise executive staff on a variety of legal issues and provide training to Penn Color employees on legal topics. Research and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact Penn Color. Translate business vision into legal documentation and communicate risks back to the business.

Qualifications: Law degree (JD Degree.) from an ABA accredited law school and admitted to a recognized Bar. Technical undergraduate degree. 10+ years combined commercial/corporate experience in large law firm and/or in-house law department. Contracts, Intellectual Property, Employment, Finance Law and/or International Law experience preferred. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Ability to exercise judgment, evaluate and weigh risks (risk management) and make practical business decisions. Visionary perspective to proactively anticipate risks and opportunities. Strategic and proactive problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all businesses. Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no supervision and without the support of an established legal team of paralegals and/or assistants. High business acumen. Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to get things done.
