Corporate Counsel, Regulatory The candidate will be responsible for domestic and international regulatory filings, including gateway and other earth station filings, as well as assist with regulator meetings and advising engineering teams on regulations as needed. The successful candidate will be embedded with Project Kuiper's Regulatory team, but also work closely with Kuiper's technical teams, public policy and other stakeholders throughout company as needed. Will learn the technical details of our innovative constellation, satellites, software and ground-based infrastructure. Will regularly strategize about the best ways we can work with domestic and international regulators to benefit our customers, particularly those in unserved and underserved communities. Should have J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar. Should have 5+ years experience as an attorney focused on regulatory matters. Should preferably have 3+ years experience in a top national or international law firm. Experience with gateway / earth station filings. Experience with satellite space station or market access filings. Experience with drafting comments to proposed rulemakings. Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams. Excited and passionate about innovating on behalf of our customers. Strong written and oral communication skills.
