Assistant General Counsel Real Estate The candidate will work closely with their own assigned business leaders and the legal team to provide legal research and advice, both proactively and reactively, in specific areas. Will recommend and implement best practices and proactive strategies consistent with legal requirements and emerging trends to minimize liability and promote the Company's strategic plan. Working with the stakeholders and collaborating with business leaders will be a daily process as you develop, write, review and revise company policies and procedures. Will represent the company and attend depositions, mediations, conferences, trials, and meetings with regulators as necessary. Should have a Juris Doctorate from accredited ABA law school and 10+ years of experience preferably in a multi-state environment and in a related industry. Must have a license to practice law and in good standing under the Bar of any state that enables admission to practice as in-house counsel in Florida. Creativity and resourcefulness, with a bias toward well-informed action required. Proven capability of actively participating in and influencing cross-functional teams needed. Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
