Immigration Corporate Counsel Englewood, Colorado Legal 54833 Job Description Our legal teams support the innovators driving the growth and success of DISH and its multiple subsidiaries, including DISH Wireless, SLING TV, Boost Mobile and OnTech Smart Home Services. From identifying and supporting a variety of corporate legal matters to negotiating the industry's evolving legal landscape, our attorneys bring their own kind of invention to effect positive change across the company and their own careers. We are seeking an Immigration Attorney to lead a team that manages all of DISH's immigration-related legal work. The attorney will interact with DISH Legal, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and management to provide legal advice and direct immigration-related legal tasks in connection with employee and applicant immigration matters. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of topics including green cards, citizenship, employment authorizations for non-citizens, Visa applications, Visa processing and requirements, immigration disputes, government audits, investigations and government reporting. This role will establish, develop and implement processes and standards. It will also be the primary point of contact for legal and regulatory issues related to DISH's immigration processes and protocols. In this role, you will: Manage employee immigration matters, including H1-B, O2, and other Visa applications, and outsource complex matters to outside counsel as needed; Lead DISH's relationship with outside immigration counsel, coordinating resources and engagement as needed; Review, certify and sign, if applicable, immigration petitions and documents, including, Labor Condition Applications (LCA), Public Access Files (PAF) documents, Labor Certification (PERM) Ads, Prevailing Wage Requests (PWR), I-983 forms and job notices; Review and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFE); Handle supervisory responsibilities of hiring, onboarding, performance management and termination of employment. Ideal candidates will have: Juris Doctor (JD) degree (Required); Five years practicing law at a law firm or corporation (with significant experience in immigration law preferred); Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating, maintenance and procedure instructions; Proficiency with the Google Suite, including but not limited to, Google Sheets and Google Docs; Ability to effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel; Excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication and customer service skills; Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to other DISH locations to assist in training, implementation of policies, compliance review and/or meetings.
