Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate diverse commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, marketing agreements and amendments. Perform legal review of consumer contracts and terms and conditions. Advise on transactions/new activities with existing partners. Support the Assistant General Counsel - Corporate, Senior Corporate Counsel, the Procurement team, Account Management, Business Development, the Product team and other colleagues. Providing legal support on a broad range of corporate and operational matters. Work with members of the legal and compliance team in handling special projects.

Requirements: JD degree from an accredited law school and a member in good standing, of any U.S. state or DC Bar (with ability to become CT Authorized House Counsel). 5+ years of corporate/commercial experience in contracts drafting and negotiation, handling a variety of legal issues and providing legal advice to a diverse client base. Experience must be related to areas of responsibilities and include progressively responsible experience within a corporate environment. Excellent drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills required. The ability to work in an open team environment. The ability to protect the company while being embraced as a trusted business advisor and partner in finding appropriate business solutions. Experience with IP licensing is a plus.
