Junior Contracts Counsel Duties: Preparation and first steps regarding prosecuting infringements, including inquiries on the entitlement to use, notice and takedown procedures and cease and desist letters. Administration and handling of infringements files, including communication and negotiation with sales teams, the internal legal team, infringers and their counsel. Provision of legal support to the company's sales team by drafting, negotiating and interpreting contracts and licensing agreements, in coordination with the worldwide legal, finance and sales support team.
Qualifications: JD Degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Admitted to the Massachusetts bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel. 1+ year experience with a law firm or in the legal department of a company (preferably a software related company).
