Contracts Strategy Counsel The candidate will develop and drive contracting strategies that enable the business to go faster while effectively managing risk. This includes strategies for streamlining deal approvals and governance, facilitating better coordination across US functions and global colleagues, coordinating complex deal execution, using data to inform contract negotiation strategies and helping standup up APEX and as-a-Service business. Bring creative and collaborative problem solving as well as strong project management and communication skills to influence others and articulate future vision. Should have a J.D. degree with admission to at least one State Bar. Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house. Should have commercial contracting experience. Should have strong negotiation, project management and strategic vision skills. Experience negotiating SaaS or as-a-Service deals preferred. Experience leading complex deal negotiations desired. Experience project managing and/or driving systematic process improvements across a team or organization a plus.
