Associate General Counsel, Privacy Youth

Associate General Counsel, Privacy Youth Responsibilities: Maintain subject matter expertise in areas of privacy and data protection laws (including state and federal privacy laws and GDPR). Develop and maintain Youth in areas of data use and privacy laws globally and advise on the impact of the same on Company's business. Lead and coordinate privacy legal counseling for Youth related issues globally and across multiple product areas. Work with multiple cross-functional teams on strategic and tactical implementation of compliance processes and policies. Assist product lawyers and members of the business in evaluating the impact of privacy laws, regulatory guidance and enforcement actions on integrity and Youth related issues. Assist in the development and conduct of general and role-specific privacy trainings across Company.

Qualifications: J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar. 8+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience. Experience working knowledge of youth/minor related privacy issues and laws. Experience advising on privacy legal risks and mitigations, with working knowledge of relevant privacy laws such as CCPA, GDPR or LGPD. Business judgment and client counseling experience. Preferred Qualifications: In-house experience with applicable litigation, regulatory, or product counseling, particularly at a technology company. Experience leading a team of attorneys and set employee goals and objectives. Experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment. Experience explaining topics and gaining support and consensus from multiple stakeholders.
