Credit and Structured Finance Transactional Attorney The candidate will work closely with the Business with respect to the structuring, sale, negotiation, documentation and execution of a wide range of products, with a primary focus on structured finance and credit businesses within the Global Markets division (including corporate and asset-backed loans and securities). Advise and assist in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis and launch of new products and businesses within credit and structured finance. Interpret, educate and assist with the implementation of regulatory changes that impact credit and structured finance businesses both in the US and abroad (e.g. SEC rules, state lending regulations, relevant non-US regulatory regimes). Advise the Business, Risk, Operations, IT, Compliance and others internally regarding US and cross-border legal and regulatory issues, developments and risks relating to credit and structured finance products and businesses. Assist with ongoing advocacy efforts relating to regulatory changes impacting credit and structured finance businesses. Should have Minimum 3- 5 years legal experience. Strong structured finance experience (e.g. securitizations, asset-backed lending, secured or unsecured credit facilities). Familiarity with corporate, securities, creditor, finance and bankruptcy laws and related issues. Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management. Ability to work independently and respond proactively to business needs. Strong team player.
