Senior Privacy Compliance Counsel Duties: Work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge projects including: privacy by design reviews and projects, supporting compliance and auditing frameworks including in relation to the GDPR and assist with drafting of policies and procedures surrounding privacy laws. Be responsible for the management and completion of privacy complaints and queries in a timely, complete and accurate manner. Support compliance and auditing frameworks. Assist with drafting of and updates to relevant policies and procedures.
Qualifications: JD and admission to at least one US state Bar. 5+ years privacy related experience working with or leading complex teams. Proven experience driving complex cross functional initiatives. Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications in English.. Strong analytical capability with attention to detail. Able to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundaries. Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change. Proven ability and commitment to work both independently and collaboratively with numerous people at all levels throughout the company. Sound business judgment, and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change. Demonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial and practical manner, to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
