Senior Attorney, Privacy The candidate will work on a global team of privacy lawyers located in different parts of the world including at Corporate Headquarters, in Armonk, NY. Work on various privacy matters in connection with the company's different business activities; provide high quality oral and written legal advice in a cost-effective manner to internal clients with minimal supervision; maintain current knowledge of relevant areas of privacy law and provide proactive advice regarding the implications of new privacy laws impacting the company; handle a variety of agreements and matters of a general privacy nature for various departments within the company; and on occasion, prepare and conduct training sessions for internal clients. Must have a Doctorate Degree. Must be Admitted to a US Bar or eligible to obtain admission as In-House Counsel. Should have 5+ years of experience in private practice. In-house experience a plus. Strong understanding of the general privacy landscape, drafting skills and demonstrable experience in all major aspects of privacy laws is required. Experience with the international aspects of privacy matters is an advantage. Broad substantive privacy law experience is needed. Strong academic background is ideal. Excellent oral and written communications skills is necessary. Sense of urgency and comfortable working with multiple priorities is desired. Ability to make decisions regarding complex legal issues is needed. Effective teamwork and excellent inter-personal skills, able to inspire trust and confidence with key stakeholders at all levels is necessary. Basic experience and understanding of European Data privacy laws and regulatory guidance is desired. One additional language is a plus (eg. Spanish).
