Privacy & Security Attorney Duties: Provide the company with legal advice to support global corporate compliance, particularly in the areas of data privacy and security. Manage multiple complex compliance workstreams in a variety of legal areas by working cross-functionally with partners across the organization. Support information technology, cybersecurity, and physical security teams. Draft and revise policies and procedures to comply with the law while reflecting company processes. Work cross functionally to advocate and implement compliance initiatives across the company.
Qualifications: JD degree; Admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 4-6 years of legal experience demonstrating competency in the field of data privacy. Skilled project manager with superior organizational skills; able to facilitate multiple cross-functional work streams on tight timelines. Business-focused and process-oriented, strong attention to detail, strong analytic capability. Ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, and agency guidance and apply concepts to business processes. Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly directives and guidelines. Ability to be a strategic partner and anticipate issues. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Eager to learn and drive fast-paced projects. Skilled at prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking. Skilled with GSuite.
