Legal Counsel, Director of Ethics and Compliance

Legal Counsel, Director of Ethics and Compliance The candidate will manage and continually enhance the company's program to drive a culture that encourages ethical conduct, a commitment to integrity, and compliance with laws. Will report to the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Provide strategic direction and advise on ethical, legal and regulatory compliance matters across the company primarily in the areas of anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, and antitrust. Drive program objectives, milestones, metrics and reporting to continually enhance and scale the company's global ethics and compliance program. Conduct investigations of suspected noncompliance with the law or the company's Code of Ethics. Conduct ethics and compliance risk assessments and related remediation efforts. Build relationships with site leaders, channel managers, event managers, and third-party resellers and vendors to bring awareness of and education about the company's ethics and compliance program. Drive expansion of the use of automated systems to implement controls and process requests and approvals. Provide thought leadership to develop and implement creative and effective Ethics and Compliance education and awareness campaigns and work collaboratively with other members of the corporate legal group to drive global awareness of other CSR initiatives. Must have 10+ years of legal experience with 5+ years in a corporate compliance department, analyzing, creating, implementing, and managing compliance programs for multinational companies. Experience in an established company in the technology sector would be particularly valuable.
