Privacy and IP- Contracts Attorney Duties: Review various agreements for intellectual property, privacy, and data protection concerns. Agreements include licensing agreements, data processing agreements, digital revenue agreements, professional services agreements, marketing agreements, distribution agreements, etc. Work in partnership with internal stakeholders (such as circulation, advertising, editorial, and the data privacy teams) to steer agreements through to execution. Periodically review and update website Terms of Service and privacy policies as necessary. Assess and advise on intellectual property infringement claims.
Qualifications: JD degree from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to the Bar and in good standing in any State. 2 years experience in applicable area of law. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Able to prioritize workload with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects. Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
