Corporate Counsel The candidate will perform transactional legal work for North American division, including contract drafting, negotiation, and execution. Support and advise business team on legal risks, interpretation of contracts, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial transactions and operations. Assist with the establishment of standards, procedures and protocols based on best practices. Drive business deals to completion by monitoring resolution and closure of issues. Supervise and coordinate the activities of outside legal counsel as needed. Support other corporate, commercial, legal and compliance projects as needed. Should have a graduation from accredited law school, active bar membership in State jurisdiction of the United States. Must have 4-7 years of experience in the practice of law (transactional corporate and commercial matters). Previous large law firm and/or in-house experience is a must (experience in the technology and financial industries is a plus). Should be a self-starter, with strong drafting and negotiation skills. Top notch time management skills and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously is required. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills and demonstrated good judgment is needed. Ability to provide practical legal advice and support in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and outstanding judgment is desired. Ability to work effectively both independently and as member of a team is a prerequisite.
