Attorney - Director, Immigration Services The candidate will provides leadership to program staff in administering the Agency's mission, ministries and policies, consistent with Catholic Charities mission and values and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Applies appropriate techniques and standards in program development, service delivery and case management in providing legal representation, advice and referral to individuals and families in the area of immigration and naturalization law. Works collaboratively with all levels of management in developing strategic plans, priorities and directing the implementation of services for assigned service area consistent with our mission and Catholic teachings. Uses program statistics to monitor and evaluate services and outcomes. Recommends, develops and implements improvements as appropriate. Develops and administers area budget within established guidelines. Ensures that programs and services comply with licensing, accreditation, state and federal standards and other appropriate regulatory or professional requirements. Develops and maintains professional relationships with community based organizations, parishes and corporations to extend the reach of services and community support. Represents clients before the USCIS, EOIR,BIA, Federal District Court and U.S Court of Appeals. Completes necessary administrative duties (paperwork, etc.) timely and accurately. Seeks to expand funding sources through fees, grants and donations. Assists with grants in collaboration with the Vice President and Director of Grants. Oversees community education outreach and pro se clinic programs. Collaborates with immigrant advocacy organizations on legislative and policy issues affecting the immigrant population. Provides direct services to clients. Promotes and markets the services to the community. J.D. with demonstrated experience in supervision, program management and budget management Experience/knowledge in the Immigration Law are required. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required. Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through application of Agency values. Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population. Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base. JD; admitted to bar and licensed to practice in Colorado; and 3-5 years related program management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
