Senior Legal Counsel and Project Director - International Trade Duties: Providing legal advice to the business on US Custom and Export Controls Rules and Regulations, Sanction regulations. Leading trade compliance investigations and managing submissions and disclosures to the U.S. government as required. Leading a team dedicated to the management of our compliance program through a focus on continual enhancement. Managing ITC Compliance policies and procedures and key elements of the Trade Program with our Compliance program. Monitoring and communicating new international trade laws, rules, and regulations that impact our business through internal communications. Managing ITC Compliance training content and annual roll-out to support our program initiatives.
Qualifications: A Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school or international equivalent. Demonstrate solid expertise in a corporate law department or a law firm and be licensed to practice in the local jurisdiction. Experience in trade compliance and the management and implementation of Trade Compliance Programs. Show poised negotiation skills and excellent analytical ability. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills including communicating complex content to a range of audiences. Have excellent writing skills and be able to provide examples.
