Attorney - Compliance Officer (Data Privacy & Ethics) The candidate will develope and operate the compliance management system, taking into account both requirements of Lidl International and Lidl US. Perform systematic analysis of existing or possible compliance risks. Advice on compliance-relevant issues to all departments. Develope and implement measures to eliminate or reduce compliance risks in cooperation with the functional departments. Coordinate and support functional departments in the implementation of compliance controls and compliance measures. Process possible compliance violations, including tracking, monitoring and responding to queries, concerns and notifications by employees, including reports delivered via anonymous reporting channels. Monitor the compliance management system for adequacy and effectiveness and derivation of necessary improvement measures. Build cross-functional partnerships with other departments to ensure compliance initiatives are being carried out. Should have Bachelor's in Law/JD/LLM or INT equivalent. 3 - 5 years in related field required. Public speaking skills are required. Must have exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Should have ability to manage complex relationships with internal and external counterparts.
