Corporate Counsel - Compliance Duties: Work cooperatively to explain, negotiate, and achieve execution of commercial transactions - specifically, those involving data commercialization processes (commercial models, service arrangements, contract structures). Take a first-level role in the negotiation of commercial contracts and service legal agreements; ultimately developing and drafting contract language that protects the assets and interests of. Play a lead role in assisting our members through the complexities that merger and acquisition activity has on their bar codes - a critical service provides to its members.
Qualifications: A strong background in reviewing, putting a pen to paper, and proposing redlines in an agreement. A JD from an accredited law school and a member of the NJ State Bar. Must have worked in a large volume legal team that reported to the General Counsel in the organization. Excel in a highly collaborative culture and have a proactive mindset when it comes to agreements to be a true partner to the business stakeholders. Strong knowledge of privacy laws and regulations combined with your experience in software licensing, SaaS, and cloud offerings and solutions.
