Immigration Attorney

Immigration Attorney The candidate will be responsible for managing, directing, and overseeing the preparation of various employment-based immigration petitions, including leading business immigration legal strategy development discussions. Will provide proactive and practical counsel on all types of business immigration law. Work closely with the company's talent acquisition and HR teams to provide a full-service and strategic approach that considers immigration in the context of a company's cross-border operations. Work with the company to proactively implement compliance best practices, train partners in the business, and create policy manuals.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Should have 2+ years of current or recent experience with non-immigrant and immigrant employment-based cases. Must have a commitment to hard work as well as excellent writing, communication, organizational and case management skills. Should be licensed in at least one state or the District of Columbia and eligible to become licensed as in-house counsel in Florida. Should have 2+ years of experience with business immigration law. Experience with various types of visas is preferred. Should have a high-energy self-starter who works well independently and in a team atmosphere, proven leadership skills, exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Should be organized and detailed-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt to variable work assignments across multiple legal departments and other functions. Should have experience using MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet multiple deadlines, ability to think strategically, while managing the details.
