Staff Counsel - Commercial Contracts Candidate will focus on advising clients and supporting more senior attorneys with drafting, negotiating, and interpreting a variety of sales, supply chain, information technology, and other commercial contracts. Will be expected to be a quick study, efficiently collaborate with other lawyers and client groups within the company, and become an effective, integrated part of the Law Department.
Qualifications: Law degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. 1-2 years of legal experience drafting and negotiating contracts are required. Previous experience in the food industry and/or with supply chain or sales contracts is preferred. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Close collaboration with other in-house attorneys in achieving business and departmental goals. A team player with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and respond to clients in a timely manner including the ability to provide competent risk assessment advice; strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
