Contracts Counsel - US Technology Transactions Duties: Lead negotiations for the sale of information technology products and services (including outsourcing, managed, and professional service engagements). Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and public agreements. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Services teams to ensure that agreements adequately protect interests. Review and provide input on terms and conditions contained in RFPs and sales proposals.
Qualifications: J.D. degree with admission to at least one State Bar. Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experienced sales contracts attorney with expertise in domestic and international sales contract negotiations, transactional, and/or in-house corporate legal experience. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully negotiating large, complex deals. Detailed knowledge of commercial contracts terms. Desired Requirements: Experience in the technology industry. Experience negotiating software, hardware and/or services contracts. Experience with public procurements.
