Privacy and Regulatory Counsel Duties: Contract administration to include implementation and maintenance of contracts database; standardize contract templates; review and maintain company contracts and agreements, and other legal correspondence and documents. Responsible keeping senior leadership apprised with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation and regulations affecting the business. Advise and implement changes to processes and policies in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assist with ethics and compliance programs including but not limited to California Consumer Privacy Act, Export and Trade regulations, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Money Laundering, Proposition 65. Work with outside counsel and corporate legal counsel as required. Monitor and review invoices from outside counsel for accuracy and reasonableness. Maintain company business licenses & registrations. Assist with Board of Directors meeting preparations and take minutes. Assist with corporate insurance claims. Support employment-related legal issues; support litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to agency complaints. Assist with internal investigations.

Qualifications: JD Degree; Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing. 5+ years of relevant experience in a Corporate context, preferably at a global, fast-paced company and/or a law firm. Experience in Employment Law preferred. Demonstrated interest and ability in learning new areas of law or employee relations required. Working knowledge of basic or common US Employment Laws (ex. FMLA, Title VII, ADA), preferred. Self-starter who thrives in a team environment and can work effectively independently. Fosters a collaborative culture and interfaces effectively with colleagues and other departments. Quick learner with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, time-management ability, accurate with excellent attention to detail, with a drive to improve processes and tools. Ability to accurately prioritize and multi-task to complete structured and unstructured projects smoothly and on-time, including short-term deadlines. Comfortable and thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment across different time zones and cultures where multi-tasking and prioritizing are required. Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards while working on a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues. Exceptional interpersonal skills, high degree of emotional intelligence and demonstrated business and people acumen. Excellent computer skills, including: Microsoft Office Suite products, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and other platforms. Comfortable with data and analytics with presentation building skills. Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy and discretion.
