Real Estate Counsel

Real Estate Counsel The candidate will draft and negotiate leases, lease amendments, and other lease-related documents. Assist with the transaction and other real estates matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage financings and construction agreements. Provide counsel to leasing agents on lease proposals and commission agreements. Advise business teams regarding leasing matters and other real estate issues. Draft and negotiate various license agreements, easements, and rights of entry. Research legal issues related to real estate and property management. Manage real estate disputes, partnering with outside counsel as appropriate.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree with excellent academic credentials and top-tier law firm experience preferred. Should have 3+ years of legal experience. Should have excellent drafting and analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, ability to work independently, proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively, being resourceful and taking on additional responsibility. Should have State Bar Admission in any of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, or Texas.
