Litigation Counsel Responsibilities: Manage regional landlord/tenant litigation directly with property management and outside counsel. Assist internal clients by interpreting and communicating the company's responsibilities and rights in regard to resolving tenant issues and collections for property management. Analyze complex legal issues in general support of legal needs of Regency's business units and senior management. Responsible for reviewing, auditing, and approving all legal invoices submitted by Regency's outside counsel.
Qualifications: JD Degree from ABA certified law school. Membership in state bar association. 3-10 years of litigation experience. Commercial real estate experience preferred. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and bankruptcy law preferred. Strong research, writing and advocacy skills. Strong analytical skills. At least an intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software, email and internet research functionality, and case management software.
