Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Provide excellent advice and guidance to clients and colleagues, on a variety of legal matters. Build trusting relationships that allow the business to make well-informed decisions. Work to attract, retain, and develop great people in an inclusive environment where each person is valued for the distinct skills and attributes they bring to the group. Meaningful collaboration, participation in the community, and investment in the development of the Law Division are all expected from candidates. Work independently but collaboratively in a fast-paced and collegial team environment.
Qualifications: Law degree. Licensed by and in good standing with the appropriate state bar association or other appropriate state attorney licensing authority. 2-4 years of corporate law experience including experience working at a law firm. Must have demonstrated recent experience providing advice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, Delaware corporate law, public company disclosure rules and considerations, treasury and finance matters, and other general corporate topics. Preferred Skills/Experience: Advanced knowledge of operations of business unit(s), products, policies and relation to industry. Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills. Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced client management, diplomacy and people skills.
