Counsel IV - Distribution Finance The candidate will provide transactional support for equipment lending and leasing transactions as well as advice and counsel with respect to legal, operational, and regulatory compliance and risk management. Specific responsibilities will include negotiating and drafting financing documents and program documents with manufacturers, dealers, and distributors.
The candidate should have 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney; or 6+ years of experience as a practicing attorney and 2+ years of legal-related experience in one or a combination of the following areas: risk, compliance, contracts, government, regulatory, financial services, or technology. Must have Active State Bar membership. Extensive experience conducting research and providing counsel and guidance regarding complex legal issues is desired. Substantive experience handling equipment lending and leasing, inventory floorplan financing, receivables financing, asset based loans or similar financing programs in the U.S. is a plus. Experience with UCC Articles 2, 2A, and 9 is preferred. Experience supporting secured lending or asset based lending is a plus. Close Date 09/20/2021.
