Corporate Counsel The candidate will work with firm's COO and the Equipment Finance Sales team on equipment leasing transactions, including preparing program documents, term sheets, lease documents, and funding documents. Will work with firm's CEO and the Real Estate team on real estate transactions, including gathering relevant information, and preparing purchase offers and closing documents; firm's EVP and the Private Equity team on private equity transactions, including gathering relevant information, and preparing closing documents; firm's management team to provide excellent customer service at all points of customer contact, internally and externally; firm's Equipment Finance, Real Estate, and Private Equity teams in regularly scheduled meetings to establish strategic objectives and initiatives, communicate/share ideas and issues, and report on progress.
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in corporate/transactional law in a law firm or in-house counsel setting. Must be conversant in negotiating and drafting contracts and closing transactions. Must have a familiarity with financing (preferably equipment leasing) and commercial real estate transactions.
