Lead Counsel, Privacy Ai

Lead Counsel, Privacy AI Responsibilities: Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in emerging regulations governing AI and ML, as well as existing privacy and data protection laws (including state and federal consumer protection and privacy laws, GDPR, and other global privacy laws) and advise on the impact of the same on the Company's business. Work closely with product counsel and product teams to guide privacy-forward product development and evaluate the impact of privacy laws, regulatory guidance, and enforcement actions. Drive high-profile and high-impact projects involving privacy analysis and compliance with cross-functional stakeholders across the Company's business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other departments. Develop a regulatory strategy for global privacy regulators in connection with new product features and initiatives and maintain the Company's ongoing privacy-by-design processes. Help to develop and conduct general and role-specific privacy training across the Company.

Minimum Qualifications: J.D. Degree or foreign equivalent. Membership in at least one US State Bar. 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience. Experience advising on privacy legal risks and mitigations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially as it relates to the field of artificial intelligence. In-house experience with applicable product counseling, compliance, litigation, or regulatory teams, especially within social media, Internet, or other companies in the tech sector. Experience prioritizing work and providing advice under deadlines. Business judgment and client counseling experience. Experience working cross-functionally to advance projects in a multi-stakeholder environment.
