Corporate Counsel - Contracts Duties: Provide legal support to Mechanical, Electrical and Engineering Divisions with a primary legal focus on reviewing, drafting and negotiating contract documents, as well as partnering with operations during the bidding and contracting process. Providing commercially sound legal advice regarding contracting matters for engineering, electrical and mechanical contractors. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with project owners, general contractor, subcontractors and vendors. Providing counsel for and working as a team with leaders throughout divisions. Providing strategic legal support for all aspects of the Company's business, including both Energy Services and Integrated Solutions. Anticipating issues and analyzing risks strategically. Identifying proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks. Negotiating agreements that minimize risks and maximize legal rights. Maintaining excellent relationships with external parties, e.g. customers, vendors, subcontractors, outside counsel, etc.
Qualifications: Licensed Attorney; 4-6 years of experience in the legal field; Significant experience working on construction contracts required; Experience with complex commercial transactions a plus; Experience with health care, hospitality and higher education clients preferred; and Experience with insurance and bonding is a plus.
