Corporate Counsel - Corporate Compliance Responsibilities: Manage a team of compliance professionals to provide advice to employees across the organization on compliance-related matters. Strategically drive improvements in's compliance program by staying informed on external developments and ensuring that programs are aligned with industry and regulator expectations. Partner with cross-functional business leaders and compliance business partners to assess the continuous improvement needs in operational excellence of compliance programs. Partner with the business to develop and oversee completion of corrective and preventative actions resulting from investigations, monitoring, audits or inspections. Develop and coordinate the implementation of any required controls to ensure alignment with policies and standards. Act as a change leader to develop practices and standardization, where appropriate, to simplify the complexity of's practices. Inform leadership of key risk indicators by maintaining, analyzing and reporting on trends in compliance data and performance metrics. Ensure that adequate training and communication programs are in place to guide people in conducting business in risk areas. Ensure that risk management plans and actions are in place to achieve objectives and follow up with risk owners and functional heads to ensure delivery. Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to conduct investigations of all serious compliance matters, and coordinate appropriate disciplinary activity for standard violations to ensure uniformity and to determine the need for additional educational efforts. Ensure audit processes are in place to monitor compliance requirements and review audit results to determine and implement remedial action if required. Track and report on actions to address significant audit findings.

Qualifications: Must be admitted to and in good standing with a U.S. State Bar. Must have 7+ years of compliance experience. Prior public company, international and/or California experience, a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently on numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. A team-player attitude focused on efficiently accomplishing aggressive goals. Must be self-reliant, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and with a team. The ability to build relationships at all levels internally and externally. The ability to change direction rapidly when priorities (or deadlines) shift.
