Structured Finance and Capital Markets Counsel Duties: Support expansion into varied facilities and continue to propel to next level leadership in this space. Work on a dedicated team of legal and financial professionals serving company and its diverse legal needs. Will: (1) structure and negotiate a variety of complex transactions, including securitizations, warehouse lending, inventory financing, loan sales and other facilities, (2) demonstrate a mastery of structured finance, with specific understanding of auto ABS, Regulation AB and the Securities Act / Exchange Act, and (3) collaborate with legal, compliance and business teams to understand financing and servicing needs, providing advice regarding transaction strategy and potential legal and regulatory risk to the company. Responsible for: Subject matter expertise of legal and financial concepts for successful securitizations and lending facilities. Research and analysis of financial, legal and regulatory matters applicable to diverse operations. Consulting with and advising business leaders on legal and regulatory developments affecting financing facilities and capital markets. Creating a positive work environment that fosters open communication and selfless leadership. Encouraging collaboration and inclusivity to explore best solutions and business enhancements. Routinely seeking information from business leaders and employees regarding legal issues and concerns.
Qualifications: Licensed attorney with 7+ years experience handling sophisticated structured financing transactions. Understanding of Regulation AB and the Securities Act / Exchange Act. Experience with national law firm preferred. General legal experience in connection with auto ABS. Client service focused with an excellent track record in previous client support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management. A mind for the details.
