Legal Counsel, Commercial Contracts

Legal Counsel, Commercial Contracts Duties: Supporting the company's vendor matters across a variety of business units and subject areas. Drafting and negotiating complex agreements ranging from professional services, software as a service, and software licensing agreements. Providing quick, concise, and commercially focused legal advice in connection with such arrangements. Working closely with partners within the Company's business to build plans and create strategies for managing its procurement needs. Working with colleagues within the vendor legal team to create and implement processes and procedures to more efficiently handle high-volume contract needs. Drafting, editing, and writing.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree. State Bar Membership. 4-7 years of experience practicing either in-house or at a law firm. Well-versed in technology and licensing, with a critical eye towards privacy, risk, and regulatory issues. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on collaborative problem-solving. Exceptional writing skills. Confident self-starter. Strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively and proactively provide sound legal advice, exercise good business judgment, work with senior management and implement policies and processes on a cross-functional basis in a fast-paced environment.
