Associate General Counsel - Real Estate

Associate General Counsel - Real Estate Duties: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating all Company leases (as lessor and lessee). Reviewing, drafting and negotiating complex general commercial contracts in other areas as assigned. Lead responsibility for real property surveys, environmental reports and title policies in connection with Company acquisitions. Maintaining well organized and complete records of all real estate matters. Displaying leadership and guidance to station managers on all contract matters. Maintaining good working relationships with legal, accounting and engineering teams to facilitate successful contract negotiations. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements: JD Degree with 4-6 years ? experience in contract review, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department. Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Fluency in English. Specific experience with real estate contracts. Excellent communication and writing skills, both oral and written; good critical analysis skills. Ability to work independently, and with all levels of management. Ability to research without access to Lexis/Westlaw or secretarial/word processing support. Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
