Senior Corporate Counsel

Senior Corporate Counsel Duties: Advise and recommend to senior management on a broad range of strategic legal and business matters. Identify and analyze risks in both routine and ambiguous, unique and complex solutions. Create risk management/mitigation recommendations to further achieve complex goals. Create practical, creative solutions to business issues. Develop good working relationships with employees at all levels within the company, including mid-level and senior-level collaborators. Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with clients, vendors and other third parties. With limited guidance, provide legal services to assigned area(s), which may include employment law matters, securities regulations, data privacy matters, contractual issues, and other regulatory matters.

Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. License to practice law in the United States. Must have 10+ years of relevant legal experience. Proven experience with or knowledge of any area of law (employment, regulatory, real estate, privacy, etc.). Securities experience preferred. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts. Excellent negotiation skills. Sound risk assessment skills. Team-oriented and able to work with multiple team members. General risk awareness with an understanding of the essential legal, regulatory, ethical and reputation risks facing the business. Responsive and service-oriented with a practical, solutions-minded approach. A desire to expand practice/learn new areas.
