Corporate Counsel, COVID Contracting Duties: Executing at the direction of the VP- Covid-19 Contracting on a global integrated and interdisciplinary risk mitigation strategy. Proactively identifying and managing the legal risks associated with contracting for new vaccine and protease inhibitor products. Providing broad risk management, strategic and contract interpretation advice, and counsel to a range of internal stakeholders (including Commercial, the General Counsel, and others across the Company) concerning areas of risk. Operate within cross-functional models, policies, procedures, and other tools or resources to support the negotiating, contracting, and implementation efforts of the Commercial team. Seamlessly coordinate with other teams within Legal, including Litigation, Biopharma, PGS, CSP, International Platform. Proactively monitoring the emerging competitive landscape and regulatory environment as it relates to Covid-19 products. Operate within a CoE approach to manage workflow, including negotiating contracts and amendments, and driving the implementation of agreements (bilateral, supranational, CoVax, resale & donation), including optimizing outside counsel support. Provide support to the Legal Biopharma team as requested. Relentless prioritization of work assignments. Influence and/or oversee the development and operationalization of next-generation solutions by: Identifying opportunities to seamlessly embed risk mitigation solutions into client-facing advice and counsel; Operating under a continuous improvement, post-Reimagine mindset to identify potential issues and implement solutions that improve the timing and quality of the value added by the team; Partnering with the colleagues both inside and outside of the Legal Division to improve practices and embed risk-based insights in order to influence decision making and de-risk activities in real-time; Creating and maintaining partnerships across the Company's Legal Division to understand, identify, influence and leverage the latest learnings and developments.

Basic Qualifications: Legal/J.D. Degree. 8+ years of relevant legal training and experience. Significant experience with pharmaceutical industry regulatory and contracting and negotiating environment. Thorough understanding of all Covid-19 offerings, as well as the risks presented in the healthcare industry. Breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact. Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker, detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and able to set and juggle priorities while handling multiple tasks simultaneously with a high sense of urgency and responsiveness. Excellent project management skills. Excellent contracting and negotiation skills. Culturally sensitive with high awareness of international dynamics. Self-motivated and able to operate independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong reasoning skills. Demonstrated strength in judgment and initiative. Preferred Qualifications: In-house experience. Experience with influencing key stakeholders.
