Senior Public Sector Contracts Counsel - US Technology Transactions Duties: Lead public RFP review and negotiation, and provide strategic guidance on Dell's response to public sector end-user terms and conditions. Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and public sector customer agreements. Lead agreement negotiation for the sale of information technology products and services (including outsourcing, managed, and professional service engagements, and the resale of third-party products and services). Assist in driving the evolution of best practices in responses to public procurements, and resolving common contracting issues with public sector customers. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Tax, Services, and Government Affairs teams to drive public sector contracting strategy and ensure that agreements adequately protect Dell's interests.
Qualifications: ?JD degree with admission to at least one State Bar. Must have 8+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department. Experienced sales contracts attorney with expertise in public sector procurements, domestic and international sales contract negotiations, transactional, and/or in-house corporate legal experience. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully negotiating large, complex deals. Experience with state, local, and education public sector procurements, strategy and compliance. Detailed knowledge of commercial contracts terms. Preferred: Experience in the technology industry. Experience negotiating software, hardware and/or services contracts, including as-a-service subscription contracts.
