Senior Counsel, Compliance

Senior Counsel, Compliance Duties: Providing legal advice, and support regarding complex regulatory laws and regulations. In partnership with the OCE, providing legal/regulatory advice and counsel related to policy formation and implementation, training, risk remediation efforts and workplans across the enterprise, including auditing and monitoring efforts that relate to compliance with complex legal/regulatory requirements. Building and leading a compliance program for specific functions of consistent with the OCE programs and framework.

Requirements: JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials; admission to practice in good standing as a member of a jurisdiction is required. 15 years of experience providing complex litigation, legal and/or risk management counsel to clients on complex litigation, legal, regulatory and privacy matters within a large company, not-for-profit organization, law firm, or government agency. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to provide sound, clear guidance to clients. Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals and efficiencies. Ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, conceive and prepare informative and data-driven analyses of risk, all in an efficient and timely manner. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. A high level of integrity and trust.
