Manager, Compliance Counsel

Manager, Compliance Counsel The candidate will draft, review and revise compliance policies, procedures and training modules, including, the Company Code of Conduct, Global Business Ethics training and other compliance policies under the Company's Global Business Integrity Program and other business areas. Coordinate closely with legal and cross-functional partners to develop best practice compliance procedures and training initiatives; deliver employee compliance training and maintain records of policy distribution and training completion. Provide advice and counsel to internal business partners on complex ethics and compliance issues, including in the areas of anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, ethics, sanctions and other areas of business conduct. Play a critical role in global third-party diligence program, including vendor onboarding and ongoing monitoring; support legal contract review process by drafting and analyzing compliance-related contractual provisions. Assist with internal investigations regarding alleged violations of ethics and compliance policies. Monitor changes in applicable law in relevant areas; prepare updates and hold training sessions with relevant business partners to keep them abreast of these developments; implement necessary changes in policies or business processes to comply with changes in-laws. The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate. Admission and member in good standing of the bar of New York. Should have 2-4 years of legal experience, including relevant corporate compliance experience; in-house experience preferred. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability and desire to work closely with business partners in many different substantive areas. High level of commitment to ethics and creating a culture of compliance. Strong business acumen and responsive, collaborative attitude. Proven ability to take ownership of projects. Desire to learn new areas of law and function as a true compliance generalist; enthusiasm for continually learning new subjects, rather than simply leveraging expertise in just one or a few areas. Flexibility and ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
