Senior Contracts Counsel The candidate will handle roughly 30 contracts on an ongoing basis thus will require the ability to work fast, prioritize and shift gears quickly. Responsible for collaborating with various internal departments (tax, finance, security, compliance, etc.) to ensure proper protection of the company and will need to manage internal stakeholders at all levels. Liaise as necessary with's specialist in-house lawyers and other regulatory functions in relation to matters such as data protection. Should have Law University degree, a licensed attorney with 8+ years experience. Should have the solid experience required of drafting, negotiating, and advising on a range of commercial contracts in an IT setting and providing advice on commercial law issues. Knowledge of any of the following areas would be an advantage: Data protection Intellectual property, contracts in an international setting, strong academic background, and professional training with a leading law firm or corporation. Ability to deal with business people at all levels on complex issues. Law University degree and attorney license to practice law. Should have 8+ years of experience. Extensive commercial contracting experience in the areas of technology bias - e.g. software and data licensing, IT services, etc. demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements while maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage contract negotiations; experience as a collaborator in an environment comprised of numerous business units with diverse needs and changing priorities (domestically and globally); can demonstrate their ability to work with autonomous business units and be flexible and agile to respond to changing business need; ability to work within a complex, matrix organization; strong organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).
