Legal Counsel - Sports Media The candidate's duties include: Providing legal support to the Head of Legal - US and US executive management. Driving our US commercial contract lifecycle from negotiation through to contract execution, including affiliate agreements and insertion orders. Develop commercial contracting process and administration. Maintaining a deep understanding of contract templates, contract policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters. Providing support for corporate governance activities as directed by the Head of Legal - US, such as drafting resolutions and preparing board reports. Guiding and advising the US Sites Compliance Assistant on compliance with, and interpretation of, applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations to ensure the compliance of our US-facing websites. Assist with ad hoc projects including M&A, data privacy, intellectual property, consumer law, marketing, technology, digital media, privacy and/or regulatory compliance. Project managing the implementation of legal initiatives and projects. Providing support to the business on other legal matters on an as-needed basis. Must have minimum of 2-4 years experience with a law firm or in-house. Should have Juris Doctor Degree, admission to New York or Florida state bar. Must have strong legal drafting and contract management skills. Should have experience in corporate, commercial, media or e-commerce law. Application deadline: 16/01/2022
