Employment and Compliance Attorney - Remote Duties: Administers the delivery of legal services in the identified practice areas and otherwise as needed. Actively supports Legal Compliance program initiatives. Seeks continuous improvement opportunities within scope of responsibility. Tracks legal trends and makes recommendations for continuous improvement as appropriate for Harley-Davidson. Reviews, drafts, and revises policies, practices, procedures, communications, trainings, etc. in response to legal and regulatory requirements. Prepares and delivers training regarding legal, regulatory, and corporate policy compliance.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Required. JD Degree from an accredited law school required. Licensed to practice law in the United States, a member in good standing with a State bar, and the ability to become a member of the Wisconsin State bar. 8+ years of related experience. 8+ years of law firm or corporate legal department experience. A high level of integrity, excellent judgment and analytical skills, and the ability to identify all relevant issues. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills (including good listening skills). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement compliance initiatives across the business. The ability to lead and work well in a team environment. Organization, planning and research skills.
