Counsel/Sr. Counsel, Global Real Estate Responsibilities: Manage all legal aspects of complex development, leasing, acquisition and divesture projects. Review, draft and negotiate leases, license agreements, brokerage agreements, construction related agreements (general contractor, engineer, architect, etc.), estoppels and subordination agreements (primarily from the Tenant perspective). Review real property surveys, environmental reports and title policies. Conduct diligence and provide real estate guidance in connection with M&A transactions. Provide legal advice relating to day-to-day facilities, zoning and environmental issues. Ensure consistent application of company best practices. Other matters at the direction of senior attorneys.

Qualifications: JD or LLM. Member of New York bar in good standing. Must have 5+ years commercial real estate experience, with title and salary dependent on years of experience, including heavy leasing experience, at a law firm and/or corporate legal department, or ideally, a combination of both. Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through ***to be considered. Must be willing to work from New York, New York. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols. Experience managing complex transactions and juggling conflicting deadlines. Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment as a good-natured team player. Ability to innovate to resolve complex issues, attain business objectives and create efficiencies. Strong business judgement and ability and commitment to give timely and practical guidance quickly and effectively. Experience with international transactions, entertainment/media industry, environmental health and safety matters and stage and studio deals. Eagerness and proven ability to learn new skills and develop new expertise as business needs change.
