Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Long Term Care Insurance Responsibilities: Assist with management of company litigation (including complex commercial cases and class actions), including overseeing outside counsel and devising successful litigation strategies. Very hands on, including drafting and editing of work product. Prepare board materials for litigation and other updates. Interface with company auditors for quarterly reporting and drafting of SEC filings. Handle subpoenas, document preservation hold process and manage company litigation risk avoidance programs. Partner with the Long Term Care Legal team and internal business clients to both analyze legal/regulatory risk and develop practical options to mitigate such risk on a wide spectrum of issues affecting the company's long term care (LTC) business. This will include but not limited to supporting new product design and implementation, administration of in-force policies (e.g., claims, in-force rate actions, operations and customer service), regulatory compliance and marketing.

Qualifications: JD degree from an accredited law school. Must have 3-7 years of complex litigation experience at quality law firm. Strong written and oral communications skills. Self-starter with strong work ethic. Executive presence. Demonstrated organizational and legal analytical skills. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to balance several priorities within compressed timeframes. Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Exhibit creativity in problem solving.
