Assistant General Counsel - Privacy Candidate will report to the Chief Privacy Officer and partner with key stakeholders across the company and around the world to drive insight and innovation while enhancing customer trust and brand equity. Must have: JD Degree from a top law school and good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar. 10+ years experience practicing privacy and data protection law in-house or at a top firm. Engineering or technology background a plus. Deep knowledge of privacy laws and regulations including CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA, FTC Act/Section 5, GLBA, FCRA, biometric privacy laws and others. Proven ability to translate complex legal requirements into forward-looking policies, frameworks and guidelines. Thought leadership, interpersonal skills and a desire to drive responsible innovation. Commitment to diversity, self-awareness, empathy and intellectual curiosity.
