Residential Mortgage Securities Attorney The candidate as part of General Counsel team, will provide legal support to Credit Suisse's Securitized Products business. Will represent firm on residential mortgage related securitization and financing transactions while advising on the 33 and 34 Act, Investment Company Act, Volcker Rule, and federal and state consumer privacy matters. This role involves coordination with external counsel in the review of various transaction documentation, including underwriting agreements, opinions of external counsel, engagement letters and offering materials. In addition, provide legal advisory support for a specific corporate initiative related to residential mortgage loans. Partner with internal functions, such as compliance, credit, tax and corporate secretary, to provide coordinated support to business-side personnel. Should possesses proven experience of at least 6 years at a law firm and/or investment bank. Expertise in a range of securitization asset classes, particularly residential mortgages is required. Should be admitted to the NY Bar.
