Senior Legal Counsel - Employment Law The candidate should have a history of academic and professional overachievement. Must have 5+ years of experience practicing employment law (in-house experience preferred). Should be adept at both employment litigation and counseling (bonus points awarded for compensation (including sales incentive and bonus plans) and benefits (health/welfare/retirement) experience). Must be comfortable with providing multi-state (and occasionally cross-border) legal guidance. Should understand and enjoy resolving the interplay between various leave requirements (e.g., ADA, FMLA, STD, PTO, sick leave, parental leave and other state-specific leaves). Must enjoy staying current on employment law developments and providing clients with practical guidance on any new legal requirements.
